JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Objective:
The role of Regional Implementation Manager is as a project manager and the central point of contact for any client on-boarding activities.It is responsible for the planning and co-ordinating implementations of new and incremental securities services business; fund manager and mandate restructures, and client exits.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Lead implementation activities covering each securities and funds services onboarding / transitions. Identify roles and responsibilities of key parties in each project, ensure all parties are accountable for their tasks and progress as planned. Escalate outstanding issues in a timely manner.
2 Act as the single point of contact to clients' contact involved in implementation. Manage and coordinate the overall implementation process including account opening and entitlements to deliver client desired services. Manage tasks to shorten cycle time and accelerate generation of revenues. Handhold clients in fulfilling markets account opening documentations.
3 Lead internal resources across functions (operations, systems, and products management), to complete implementations on time
4 Arrange handover of the client service requirements to Client Servicing Team for seamless transition upon successful completion of transition activities, and post implementation review.
5 Coordinate transition activities with all internal and external parties and report to clients.
Provide feedback on current processes and be a member to contribute to process improvement initiatives, if appropriate.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Knowledge/Experience: Skills:
1 Solid knowledge of banking products and operations, preferably securities related services.
2 Solid work experience of a minimum of 5 years in a securities operations/client service role.
3 Solid experience of assets transition and account opening activities preferred.
4 Ability to work independently and overtime if needed
5 Good time management, negotiation and communication skills.
6 Good documentation and project management skills.
7 Strong client facing skills
8 Able to identify issues and escalate
Qualifications: Competencies:
1 University graduate
2 Fluent in English. Mandarin is required
3 Willing to travel, if required
