Demand Planner Key Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and assess the comprehensive plan for demand on specific product families. Lead the process for demand management: Planning Demand, Communicating, Influencing Demand, Prioritizing and Managing Demand. Manage the variables in the demand equation: marketing forecast, inventory, and consumption. Optimize the models and variables for each of the products to drive a product family’s production plan and demand plan to meet established customer satisfaction metrics and business goals. Develop and track performance measurements to provide feedback on execution and reinforce accountability.

Job description:
? Lead communications on demand management with Marketing, Manufacturing, Customer Service
? Lead communication on production objectives to meet Customer Satisfaction and Sensata Business Goals
? Coordination of worldwide demand plan for specific product families
? Measure and monitor the demand plan for specific product families
? Manage and balance global capacity utilization to meet customer and business needs
? Manage Global allocation of output where demand exceeds capacity globally
? Establish and monitor inventory models
? Develop forward-looking capacity plans and proactively resolve issues
? Define processes and drive improvements
? Lead Projects

Key Expectations, Reporting and Timeline
? Highlights submission bi-weekly
? DLQ Analysis and Projection bi –weekly
? Weekly LL Integrity Activities and Analysis to drive actions and resolutions – Weekly LL development buckets, Backlog Stability and Forecast Trends ( work with Sales and Marketing, CS and Make)
? Periodic LL Reconciliations to Forecast ( work with Sales and Marketing)
? Periodic or min monthly ( as when need arises) Review Forecast Errors and Accuracy trends with Sales & Marketing
? FG E&O review and resolutions with Sales & Marketing monthly
? Monthly Customer NOTD analysis working with CS to drive clarity to the root causes and resolutions
? Work and get actively involved with Ops in driving Supply Chain or Production issues ( when need arises) to avoid Customer Delivery challenges
? Responsive to Direct Supervisor ‘s emails and request
? Complete assigned projects timely
? Any other assignments as required ( this could include roles as GDP or regional DP driven by business circumstance changes or planned development)

Qualification:
1. Degree in any discipline
2. Preferably 2-5 years related working experience
3. Good verbal and written English language
4. Knowledge of Oracle is an advantage
5. Willing to travel occasionally overseas
