Responsibility:
To plan and facilitate quality related activities for development projects by fulfilling the duties associated with FMEA's, Process Qualification Planning, Metrology Planning, Control Plans, Inspection Plans and Methods, Workmanship Standards, Capability, DOE's and other necessary studies within a development protocol in delivering capable processes to manufacturing.
requirement:
1. Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year College or University; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
1. Ability to effectively identify and eliminate common cause variation within continuous or batch processes through the use of solid practices and analysis in establishing statistical process control (SPC)
2. Ability to define and generate Quality Plans, Control Plans and Workmanship Standards that become the basis for qualifying processes both internally and externally.
3. Ability to provide qualification assessments related to product/process risks, capability and manufacturability.
4. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, engineers and manufacturing site representatives via business correspondence formal papers, reports and/or procedural manuals
5. Should have knowledge and skills using:
· Internet software
· Project Management software (Microsoft Project)
· Spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel)
· Word Processing software (Microsoft Word)
· Presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint)
· Measurement System Analysis
· Statistical analysis software (Minitab or Jmp)
· Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
6. Demonstrated skill and knowledge to train individuals and teams.
7. Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision and provide updates on project status where issues or problems can be reviewed discussed and resolved.
