Purpose of the position:

Responsible for efficient execution and coordination of inbound and outbound customs clearance activity.
Position involves daily contact with local suppliers, customs broker, Panalpina subcontractors, Panalpina colleagues/partners, external 3PL’s, etc. for successful execution and completion to ensure operational excellence according to targets (KPI’s).

Note: Position is located in Yangshan Free Trade Port Area (YS FTPA)

Key Tasks:

Customs clearance coordination
Process and pre-qualify all inbound & outbound shipping documents needed for CIQ and YS FTPA Exit process, and reject all shipping documents that are not 100% accurate according to YS FTPA Customs Exit and Export rules
Coordinate with customs broker for inbound & outbound customs clearance in a timely manner
Track & trace status of customs clearance and coordinate for abnormal customs related issue
Record, filling and manage all customs clearance documents
Manage and return VAT refund and FX collection form

Requirements:

Customs clearance management/customer service related to local suppliers and customs broker
Familiar with BLP/FTZ/FTP customs processes
Plus if have customs broker license
Plus if experience from Telecom network equipment
Plus if familiar with basic warehouse operations

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent administrative and coordination skills
High sense of urgency & responsibility

Ability to continuously learn/re-learn fast

College degree or higher in customs, logistics, freight forwarding or equivalent

Minimum 3 years working experience from customs brokerage, 3PL and/or freight forwarding

Higher focus on attitude, personality
