Duties &
Responsibilities:

Develop, price and file new products to ensure meeting business needs and both internal and regulatory compliance
Gather relevant background, data and information in product position, segments, client, channel, underwriter’s guidelines and intention
Make sensible judgment on key pricing assumptions
Review pricing model, logics, assumption provided by pricing actuaries
Set up pricing model, test results and finalize the rate with underwriters
Understand regulatory contents and market general practice

Conduct reporting, experience study and research to meet both internal needs and regulatory requirements
Collect right information and data and valid them
Analyze the data by applying a relevant framework, setting up analytical model
and draw sensible conclusions
Prepare a presentation material or a report
Communicate the results with related management

Support reserving, solvency and capital management
Understand the data requirements, sources and extract the data
Check the data quality and reconcile with F/A data, adjust the data source, grouping and structuring
Support triangulation, financial modeling, projection and reporting

Candidate
Specification:

Passed at least 4 exams of CAS, IOA, CAA and other relevant qualification institutions and determined to have further actuarial career development, person with associate qualification is preferred
Had at least 3 years experience in insurance industry or relevant fields, solid knowledge of general insurance esp. auto business and good business sense; person with product filing experience is preferred
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a high deadline pressure environment
Detail oriented and have the team-work spirit to work across departments
Bachelor or above degree in actuarial, mathematics, statistics, insurance, finance, economy or other majors with a strong quantitative focus and academic record from leading universities or colleges
Solid skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, VBA, GLM and other related office actuarial software
Proficiency language skills in both writing and speaking (Chinese and English)
