Contract Status: Full-time, fixed-term employment contract for 1 year
Qualifications:
Essential: Bachelor degree or equivalent; Excellent command of written and spoken English; Proven IT skills, including using MS Office systems including PowerPoint, Word, outlook, Excel; Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; Experience of coordinating marketing events and promotional activities, producing reports and analyzing data, working with commercial organizations, especially with regards to graduate recruitment and working in a multicultural environment; Awareness of data protection legislation, health and safety and equality and diversity; Confident, Quick learner, Self-motivated, proactive; Strong commitment to student services and a belief in the value of higher education; Work well under pressure; Strong customer focus; Ability to work independently and within a team; Identify and set priorities and work accurately and to deadlines; Willingness for occasional business travel; Willingness of working at weekends or during holidays occasionally if requested.
Desirable: Master degree; Considerable experience in a British Higher Education Institution, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans, supporting complex projects, program administration, liaising with academic staff, working with multinational organizations.
Salary & Benefits: RMB73, 000 – RMB116, 000 per annum before deductions, depending on qualifications and experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of marketing, promotion and communication strategy for employer events, job opportunities and activities;
- Student and stakeholder engagement: provide support to all student participants and respond to stakeholder enquiries both inside and outside the University;
- Employer Engagement: co-ordinate end to end process required for identifying new employers, work with new employers to interpret ideas, complete employer registration process, and organize timetabling and room bookings, registering and promotion among students. This would also include engaging with Global Employment Manager to support overseas employers and our overseas campuses and where suitable aligning activity with broader university strategy in-country and internationally;
- Event management, including campus talk, job fair, workshops and employer networking events; responsible for ensuring all events are well organized, met or exceeded participants’ and employers’ expectations and are willing to offer career opportunities for our students;
- Development of administrative processes, including employer database, timetabling, attendance monitoring and providing effective reports to the team leader. This would also include supporting the development and ongoing use of a proposed multi-campus Career Management System;
- Design and manage evaluation framework, including designing student surveys, employer feedbacks, collating data and creating final report;
- Support the work of the team through supporting team projects and large events, as well as daily support during busy periods.
