职位描述

BASIC FUNCTION

The Senior Manager-Industrial Solutions and Aftermarket is responsible for leading the IS and Service teams in carrying out feasibility studies, technical evaluation, cost estimation, quotation formulation on industrial solutions projects and ensuring effective IS project execution. Provide Training for Sales People for Engineering Solution product and system knowledge. Develop strategic local vendor to support the Industrial Solution capability in CZ. Establish effective Project Management process and function to support growing sales of Total Solution. Build the Application Engineering Team in China Sales Organization to support the front line sales activity from technical and system configuration with both Standard and Engineering Special product.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Industrial Solutions:
Manage and oversee feasibility studies, technical evaluation, cost estimation and quotation formulation of IS product and system.
Attend to pre-sales presentation as well as sales inquiries on major a more complicated system projects which include gensets paralleling running along with switchgear system and non-standard systems inquiries.
Technically support Area Sales by assisting and influencing customers in specifications, procurement and implementation of special power products and systems.
Responsible for comprehensive project proposals, quotations, technical compliance and related documentations with potential strategic vendor searching and selection and suggest to Sourcing team for qualification.
Ensure effective projects execution coordination, comprehensive systems engineering and scheduling.
Work closely with engineering and production departments, supporting vendors and customers in the development of project and non-standard systems to meet customers’ needs.
Actively coordinate the interface between engineering team in Kohler Power Systems supporting vendors and customers in the development of project such as Dealers IS Team, EPC and local design institutes
Provide System configuration and specification proposal with selected product from our existing product family which helps KPS in better competitive position for Area Sales for those project.
Proposal detailed with necessary Product drawing, Cabling and Pipeline Plan, Switchgear system plan and full system description, benefit and value analysis.
Technically support Area Sales by assisting and influencing customers in specifications, procurement and implementation of standard power products and systems.



After Sales Service:
Manage Authorized Kohler Service Centers to maintain excellent service to end-customers, through constant review, audit of centers’ practices, and coordinating and providing updated training when necessary.
Develop service, training and part sales policies and guidelines including product pricing, terms and credit limits.
Establish budget forecast on service and training and part sales activities.
Plan and direct overall service and training activities provided to distributors and customers.
Monitor and evaluate warranty applications and costs.
Maximize associates’ performance through effective leadership and acting as coach and mentor.

Application and sales technical support
Provide Training for Sales People for Engineering Solution product and system knowledge.
Develop strategic local vendor to support the Industrial Solution capability in CZ.
Establish effective Project Management process and function to support growing sales of Total Solution.
Build the Application Engineering Team in China Sales Organization to support the front line sales activity from technical and system configuration with both Standard and Engineering Special product.



QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with 12 years of relevant experience, a MBA is preferred;

Good technical knowledge of diesel generators, Engine, Alternator, controller and Switchgear system, and rich application experienced.

Very strong knowledge and experience of competitors’ product advantage and disadvantage and pricing strategy.
Proactive and positive, with good negotiation and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills.

Reports to Sales Director.

Organization Relationships

Frequent contacts with Industrial Solutions and Engineering departments in Singapore, MOSEL and BREST.

External Business Relationships

Customers – existing and potential.
Vendors – suppliers, fabricators, contractor etc.
