POSITION TITLE

CLIENT SUMMARY
Our client is the global leader in the manufacture of automotive harnesses;


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities:
1. Coordinating and leading the IE Department;
2. High coordination between the central areas IE due to improving and designing existing and new data processing solutions for the documentation;
3. Coordination with the related product development areas (SVW) in order to guarantee and to realize an ideal product development regarding stable production processes. The target is to fulfill the OEM's quality standards
4. Assuming responsibility for the correct realisation of all activities from the IE-departments subordinated;
5. Assuming responsibility for realizing all IE-activities in the plants

Tasks to be fulfilled
1. Coordinates the collaboration regarding Change Management in manufacturing plant;
2. Offers assistance in creating processes (FMEA, KVP);
3. Realizes the capacity planning for all production processes and SVW-plants regarding Change Management;
4. Ensures manufacturing plant process optimization;
5. Ensures for the manufacturing plant a correct and prompt documentation (FAW, BP, KFB)
6. Ensures in the manufacturing plant a prompt realisation of production changes required by customers
7. Ensures a correct and prompt evaluation of changes and its transmission in due time to the CC-Sales (SVW);
8. Ensures the instructing and training of all IE-employees;
9. Fulfills any other tasks that are necessary for the good running of all activities of IE CC.

Tasks regarding work protection and emergency situations
1. Knows and observes the law stipulations in the domain of work security and health, as well as the applicable measures, having the following attributions and responsibilities:
2. Instructs the employees at their work place and does also the periodical instruction for the directly subordinated personnel
3. Supervises and is responsible for the subordinates who do not observe the stipulations in the domain of work security and health, as well as in the domain of fire prevention
4. Checks, controls the observance of the internal instructions, work instructions and whether the periodical instruction was done by his employees who have such attributions;
5. Knows and observes the law stipulations in the domain of emergency situations, as well as the applicable measures, having the following attributions and responsibilities:
6. Organizes, coordinates and controls, according to the law stipulations in fact , the activities for protection against fire from his department;
7. Organizes the instruction of all the personnel in his subordination regarding the PSI norms;
8. Organizes the systematic control regarding the observance of the PSI norms and the presence of the means for putting out the fire in his department; Issues the "Permit for working with fire".


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Job competences
1. Professional education
2. Graduate Engineer specialized in Mechanical Engineering / Economy
3. Professional Experience
4. At least 5 years in the automotive industry, especially electrical wiring;
5. At least 5 years in Industrial Engineering, at least 3 years of them with leading experience or in a similar position.
Knowledge
1. Knowledge in production (production/manufacturing) and documentation reaching from development of to creating production documentation;
2. Specialized knowledge in planning of and in the structure of production and its processes;
3. Fluent knowledge in English in writing and speaking;
4. High methodical knowledge in:
5. Value Stream Mapping / process optimization;
6. Determination of target time: REFA, MTM and other systems of predefined times;
7. Change Management.
