Position: Safety
Supervisor
Purpose of the job
Develop occupational safety management system in the unit. Participates in the cooperation within occupational health and safety of the unit and its development. Acts in cooperation with the units and the public authorities. Follows up the developments of the legislation and standards within his/her area of responsibility and participates in distributing information to the line organisation.
Key tasks
1. Assist to develop the Company Health and Safety Management system and monitoring the implementation.
2. Support and advise to Production and Maintenance area in safety issues.
3. Develop internal safety audit and compliance audit program and lead annual audit
4. Make safety inspection and risk analysis to detect existing and potential risks and determines corrective and preventive measures.
5. Arrange and conduct safety training, promotion and communication to improve employee awareness and competence of safety in the responsible area.
6. Participate in operation accident & incident investigation and provide support on corrective and preventive actions and follow up to closure.
7. Make safety data and trend analysis and provide suggestions to operation team
8. Develop safety best practice in mill wide.
9. Manage of safety related change issues including new material, equipment and process.
10. Support safety reference group work as member of reference group.
Prerequisites
? Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Engineering
? Certified National Safety Engineer preferred;
? At least 3 years professional EHS experience in EHS Management system (e.g. OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001/SA 8000) in a MNC.
? Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams & effectively lead to significant results.
? Good command of English both in writing and oral.
? Good PC skills.
