Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for all import/export business including prototype parts, finished vehicle, laboratory equipment and sample parts, for all the functions (PD, Purchasing, Cost Estimation,STA, etc.) in REC,
• Maintain control and ensure regulations to all import and export processes and monitor work according to corporate and local policies and evaluate all new custom requirements and supervise everyday operations according to standard procedures.
• Assist to obtain all required import permits and export licenses for all processes.
• Assist FCO non-production purchasing department to source local logistics providers with effective cost and services
• Provide an efficient interface with freight forwarders; administer all freight logistics and resolve all shipment issues.
• Provide an efficient interface with custom brokers to evaluate all items for import/export and prepare all necessary documents.
• Provide an efficient interface with local government authorities: Customs, CIQ, MFCOM, etc; to response all inquires and requests from them and obtain required certifications for all export/import products for customs clearance.
• Perform all record keeping processes and maintain import/export tracking sheet according to company GIS rules. Perform audit on all import/export files on regular basis.
• Maintain a list of tax exemption equipments and perform quarterly audit; prepare yearly audit status report to local customs.
• Collaborate with various departments internally and obtain all necessary documents and ensure compliance to all import and export policies and perform regular audits on all service providers' activities
• Review and check monthly invoices from service providers, and submit Payment Request in QAD system timely
• Maintain and update desk procedure of import/export; conduct regularly trainings to all departments in REC on customs policies as well as import/export process

Candidate Qualification

• Education: Bachelor Degree – International Trade/Logistics/Transportation.
• Professional Exposure: 3 yrs + experience in any of the following: Trading Company, Supply Chain Mgt, Logi
• tics Purchasing, Customs Broker, Management of external logistics service providers.
• Proficient in conducting business in English language among non-native speakers
• Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of the routines and working methods within Customs handling
• Knowledge of the process connected to MP&L; e.g. Transport, Purchase, Manufacturing, export/import of part and vehicles etc.
• Very good skills to lead and plan the operation
• Good analytic ability
• Must be aware of and have good information of the regulations for Customs
