Trade compliance includes Export Control, Customs issues, and Preferential Origin/ Free Trade matters. The scope of TCA is to ensure that products in the R&D center can be exported worldwide according to Ericsson Trade Compliance requirements, in alignment with the Ericsson Business process. Inform and support in the operational daily work in trade compliance matters.

Main responsibility:

· Ensure that the R&D organization center have relevant trade compliance processes implemented and followed within the R&D/PDU units.
· Ensure the activities within R&D organization complying with national laws and regulations, and adhering to the relevant Group Directives.
· Managing import & export operation activities (such as product classification, license application,) to ensure the on time deliveries of inbound/outbound.
· Maintain the trade relevant product information in PRIM. Support in broken orders from design perspective.
· Manage US content in product, to perform the OTR (One Time Report) and the Software data for de minimis calculations documentation for products aimed for the US embargoed countries.
· Ensure that all products together with Sourcing for 3rd party product have needed trade information; i.e. export restriction information - (ECCN), Customs information, (HST), Country of Origin, preferential origin and U.S. content.
· Provide Trade compliance training to people within the R&D organization to ensure that persons involved in export and customs control to the level their jobs require.
· Trade compliance process improving.


Qualifications

· Bachelor degree in software engineering or equivalent
· English speaking person, excellent in both spoken and written
· Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially managing diversities
· Able to work under pressure, effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment
· Flexible for domestic and international travels
· Good knowledge of export and customs control laws and regulations of EU and USA
· Knowledge Import/export, custom regulations of China
· Knowledge in telecom products and encryption technology is a plus
· Knowledge of Ericsson portfolio and product release process & tools is a plus
