- For our Healthcare Sector we are looking for an EMC Testing Engineer at the earliest opportunity.
- The Testing Engineer supports the local product development of SSME, SMMR and SXVT and to shorten the time to market (EU, US, China etc.)

What are my responsibilities?
- Draft testing plans for EMC acceptance tests in our partner labs
- Supervise EMC tests at our partner labs (SEARI, CMTC, SMQ)
- Support and supervise EMC test report
- EMC testing and documentation with our own EMC equipment (conducted)
- Setup our 3m fully anechoic chamber for immunity and emissions
- Support development in case of fail and during development process
- Planning grounding concept
- PCB layout support and review
- Pre testing of components
- Decision how to handle change requests
- EMC on site testing at Particle Therapy Hospital and others
- Plan and setup ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE supervision during immunity test according IEC 60601-1-2 3rd Edition
8. Advising and support of internal and external customers at the interpretation and realization of regulatory and normative requirements during the complete product life cycle.
9. Analyze of regulatory and normative product requirements regarding electrical and mechanical safety and preparation of these with the purpose of global market access.
10. Working in accordance to the quality requirements of the ISO IEC 17025.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
1. Professional experience more than 6 years in EMC testing at an accredited testing lab
2. Professional experience in medical device EMC testing desirable
3. Knowledge of the following standards
- IEC 60601-1-2 2nd and 3rd Edition (including all referenced standards)
- CISPR 22 and CISPR 24
- IEC 61000-6-1
- IEC 61000-6-2
- IEC 61000-6-3
- IEC 61000-6-4
4. Risk management desirable
5. Functional safety desirable
6. Safety for programmable electronic medical systems desirable
7. Intercultural experience desirable
8. Experience with CINAS accreditation desirable
9. Knowledge of ISO 17025 desirable
10. Good English speaking and writing mandatory.
11. Good Microsoft Office user skills mandatory.
