职位描述
PURPOSE:
？ To ensure that the final product is bug free and ready to be released to the public or client
？ Contribute on Lexis China usability improvement
？ Offer consultation on system design and development strategy
？ Contribute on part of product operation work such as data conversion and hyperlink process
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
？ To establish QA process and standard management
？ Work with developers in test to improve product quality, to evaluate functionality, indentify problem areas, create test cases and investigate bugs
？ To ensure that the final product is bug free with following areas and ready to be released to the public or client
？ Usability
？ Browser and OS compatibility
？ Functionality
？ Internal standards
？ Performance/load balancing
？ Content
？ Security
？ To design, develop, and maintain automation systems and often expandable suites containing multiple automation programs to be used by the development team
？ Conduct code review to identify problems periodically as each major feature is added.
？ To define Lexis China usability evaluation plan and take charge of usability improvement
？ To Test and execute operational data conversion and hyperlink process
？ Assist System Architect with some basic data analysis activities, such as sample data gathering, generate usage data report and any activity for preparing data list according to other function’s test.
？ Assist System Architect to perform part of development of Lexis China includes coding, testing, debugging, infrastructure setup and documentation etc
KNOWLEDGE, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge:
? Working experience in QA area
? Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
? Experience in database design, administration and performance tuning in more than one product such as MYSQL, Oracle or DB2;
? Experience in system resilience and load balancing architecture design; and
? Have knowledge of CSS, ASP, PHP, JavaScript.
Competencies:
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related subject
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both English and Mandarin)
