Description:
The Regional Visual Manager is responsible for building and maintaining overall Visual Merchandising skills in APAC region at all Field levels and supporting the Field team in delivering a consistent branded experience within their region, market or store. Consistent experiences are achieved through the ability to effectively gain consensus and alignment with stakeholders and by building relationships, collaborating and influencing key partners.
The Regional Visual Manager position possesses a very strong Visual Merchandising Presentation skill set and demonstrates the proven ability to conduct effective store visits and facilitate valuable training workshops. The role of the Regional Visual Manager enables superior execution of brand standards and visual merchandising strategies within their respective location or territory, positively impacting overall business results through the use of Visual Merchandising.
Responsibilities:
? Builds Talent
- Build Regional Director and Market Leader competencies/skills on all aspects of Visual Merchandising
- Conducts effective Store Visits and facilitates Training Workshops/ Forums, building visual merchandising and presentation capabilities and reinforces the execution of superior Brand Standards
- Actively seeks regional specific opportunities to drive business results through the use of Visual Merchandising
- Ability to identify and assess Visual Talent
- Actively participates in the talent selection & on-boarding process
? Builds the Brand
- Participates in critical planogram sets with key business partners
- Sets expectations and standards as it relates to all aspects of visual merchandising and brand standards within respective territory. Ensures brand consistency
- Influences Field to understand and leverage visual merchandising as a tool to impact conversion and maximize overall business results
- Provide feedback, solutions and ideas on Visual Merchandising and Presentation to Corporate Team
- Seek and use broad knowledge of business and industry to make informed decisions
- Understands current and seasonal strategies. Ensures the timely and accurate dissemination of information to meet all brand expectations
- Effectively leads the merchandising set up of NSO?s and remodels, by training and developing new staff in all areas of Visual Merchandising
? Builds Competencies and Drives Results
- Influences critical home office business partners; Merchandising and Visual Merchandising in regards to business strategy and tools that enable execution. Shares best practices, industry benchmarking and ideas
- Partner with Field Management to develop actionable plans that will improve business performance through the use of the Visual Merchandising
- Understands how to read critical reports, analyze business results and apply knowledge to region, linking visual merchandising & presentation to overall business results
- Understands merchandise flow standards/backroom organization and how it effects planogram set execution, replenishment and recovery, and the overall in-store customer experience
- Works collaboratively as part of the World Wide Visual Merchandising Organization.
- Support and develop productive relationships with key cross-functional business partners, including but not limited to, Marketing, Merchandising, Store Operations and Field
- Provides significant feedback, ideas and hindsight on current and future planogram sets, tools and seasonal strategies
- Provides regional partnership and support to build Field Leadership, impacting overall business metrics, sales, profit and conversion
? Communication
- Ability to simplify complex issues and topics
- Ability to effectively translate data into actionable information to drive results
- Ability to convincingly structure and deliver content in written and formal presentations
? Interpersonal Skills
- Demonstrated success working as part of a cross-functional team
- Ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels
- Ability to maintain a sense of humor under pressure
Qualifications:
? B.A. or B.S. degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or comparable required
? 5-7 experience in Visual Merchandising, multi store capacity
? 1-3 years retail management experience
? Very Strong Merchandising Skills
? Ability to facilitate effective visual presentation training
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
? Proven ability to train and develop
? Proven ability to prioritize, problem-solve and decision make
? Proven ability to independently and pro-actively manage multiple tasks/priorities and personalities
? Demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and remotely
? Strong organizational and analytical skills
? Approximately 50% - 70% travel required
? Ability to safely lift and carry 50lbs. and climb ladders
? Computer skills: basic knowledge of Mac is preferred
