JOB OBJECTIVES:
Support and contribute to technical service request (TSR) and related activities; Report collected and analysed results within agreed time to the Lab supervisor or TS manager provide general guidance to junior staff on routine work; Responsible for the activities in the lab under regular to minimal supervision; Deliver requested results such as results from TS lab, organize and schedule activities to achieve objectives accordingly; Keep material cost on low level; Show responsibility for the lab equipment being used, take care to minimize maintenance cost by good housekeeping and appropriate cleaning procedures. Handle equipment according manuals, ensure to act according given standards, perform regular calibration, ensure on required documentation; Use of established working or testing procedures, if difficulties occur be able to make modifications to established procedures.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Carry out lab work requests for market support, tech. service tasks, problem solving issues and compile test results.
2. Test and benchmark customer samples, supplier or competitor products. Test given grades in guiding formulations; adjust guiding formulations to customer specific needs and requirements.
3. Prepare promotion materials for sales and technical advisors.
4. Communicate frequently with team members and TS manager- TSR job update and seek for feedback.
5. Ensure consistent and good quality of work and documentation. Comply with official quality certifications e.g. ISO standards.
6. Maintain lab equipment under his responsibility and calibrate per fixed schedule
7. Maintain work place in good condition and meet BASF Safety, Health and Environment requirements and implement 5S.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Education: College or bachelor degree in chemistry or chemical engineering;
2. Work Experience: at least four years technical / lab working experience in construction industry, Operate and maintain equipment;-Understand basic English;-Operate Microsoft Office
3. Technical and Professional Knowledge: Operate and maintain equipment; Understand basic English;-Operate Microsoft Office.
