JOBOBJECTIVES:



He/She is as Engineering Manager responsible to coordinate, monitor and control all engineering and project management related activities during the planning phase. During project execution (detail design, construction and commissioning) he/she supports the Project Manager with regard to all engineering issues.He/she should take efforts to develop high quality engineering deliverables and services by implementing BASF quality and safety guidelines and is within the engineering team the overall responsible for schedule, costs and functionality.



RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.Function, cost and schedule responsibility for planning and detail engineering of large capital investment projects within Asia Pacific.


2.Support of construction, commissioning and start-up of large capital projects within Asia Pacific.


3.Leadership and support of the project engineering team.


4.Coordination and tracking of the engineering work between all involved disciplines and all engineering partners, (sub-) contractors or local design institutes.


5.Initiate and ensure proper team building of the engineering team.


6.repare and maintain the project organization, manning plan and staffing plan.


7.Preparation and support of engineering specific decisions.
