A key element of the business plan in Asia Pacific is the creation of a successful Sales Structure across Asia Pacific. The integration and the structure of the actual sales team existing, India, Vietnam , Singapore ,Japan, and Australia sales team into a single, coherent, high-performing commercial organization is a key factor for the Commercial Success.
The role of Asia Pacific Commercial Director is fundamental to the development and execution of our growth plans. This role has full responsibility for achieving the business and financial objectives associated with AP commercial P&L and maximizing profitability. This includes directing sales activities and embracing and utilizing Commercial Excellence (ComEx). The Commercial Director has overall responsibility managing the region's sales force and other commercial personnel and for the region's customer portfolio and prospect.
Reporting and Staff Responsibilities:
This role reports to the Vice President/General Manager, APAC
This role has to design, create and then lead the AP commercial structure in synergy with the Key Account APAC structure.
He will lead and coordinate also the back office and operational marketing activities.
Location:
Shanghai or, Changzhou
Strong mobility required through China
Key Responsibilities:
· Account Management – Agree with the APAC VP/GM the Account Plant to develop the AP Market within the assigned target in terms of Sales and Financial Figures.
· Deliver Profitable New Business - Deliver new, profitable business within the region by evaluating new business opportunities and qualifying prospects. Manage the region's new business pipeline.
· Leading Commercial Structure: Agree with the APAC VP/GM a robust Commercial structure either in terms of Direct Sales (Account Managers, Sales Rep, Distributors) either the internal Customer Sales Support team, define functions and implement the organization. To support highly efficient and effective sales management, customer service, and other regional commercial process
· Design the Business Plan in terms to Optimize Regional Enterprise-wide Profitability and Meet Financial Objectives Provide the leadership, decision-making, and adherence to ComEx processes that maximize profitability within the region and ensure that financial objectives are achieved.
? Pricing - utilize ComEx analysis, processes, and tools to ensure that pricing efforts are optimal and efficient, including working with the ComEx team to refine the regional pricing strategy and targets.
? Key Accounts - Provide the necessary leadership and support to the APAC Key Account Manager and his structure.
· Market Planning - Develop a solid understanding of market and competitive dynamics within the region. Utilizing ComEx templates develop marketing plan(s) for maximizing profitability with the region.
· Team Leadership - Motivate, lead, and inspire commercial team within region
· Safety - Ensure all team members consistently exhibit safe behavior
· Head of China Sales - Represent Commercial Results within China leadership team. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of key performance indicators
· Way: assure the integration of the AP commercial structure within the approaches and standards, particularly:
· Coaching and Performance Management - Utilize ComEx performance management standards, including monthly performance management dialogues, to ensure each team member delivers consistently high levels of performance, to understand shortfalls and remedial actions, to identify opportunities, and to coach team members.
· Commercial Excellence - Contribute to the development and execution of commercial ComEx within AP district.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:
· General, Functional & Technical:
- Proven Sales Experience in the AP Market
- Proven Ethical approach.
- Prove experience in managing and creating team
- Fluent in Chinese (native) and English
- Degree level education, preferably Business
- FIBC sales experience preferable differently comes from a B2B sales experience, possibly in complex production products.
- Previous experience as Sales in Western Company
· People & Team Leadership
o Proven leadership and management skills
o Experience in Leading, Creating Successful Sales Teams
· Relationships and Influencing
o Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior contacts within FPS and customer base
o Demonstrable evidence of success in a complex matrix organization

o Excellent knowledge of flexible packaging sector and customers from a Sales and Marketing perspective
