职位描述
Static Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute work in accordance with he applicable Project Procedures and Standards.
2. Review the project execution schedule developed by the Cost and Planning Department and to develop the detailed schedule for Mechanical Engineering and/or Design activities if necessary.
3. Ensure that quality of design and drawings produced for the purposes of enquiry and fabrication is of satisfactory standard.
4. Prepare material requisitions for the defined mechanical equipment. Issue material requisitions for enquiry, order placement and for any subsequent revisions.
5. Review Vendors' quotations, prepare technical quotation evaluation and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor.
6. Hold Vendor co-ordination meetings and engineering review meetings to establish full understanding of scope of supply.
7. Carry out the following functions relative to Vendor documentation as:
- Review document requirements and issue dates for major equipment with Vendors at the pre-order meeting.
- Distribute Supplier documentation to the various Engineering and Drawing Office Groups and co-ordinate their comments. Prepare consolidated comments and return these to the Supplier.
- Correspond with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary. Review relevant project design work and in particular:
- Engineering Flow Diagrams with reference to assigned equipment
- Piping Layouts and Model with reference to assigned equipment.
8. Advise the Principal Mechanical Engineer of:
- Any major slippages and their causes and proposed corrective action.
- All policy matters, major technical problems and unresolved differences with other Groups.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE:
- Sound knowledge and experience on Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries at static equipments' design, calculation and stress analysis and so on.
To familiar with International and China design codes and relative China regulations and standards.
- To familiar with international engineering company working procedures, and with strong capacity on preparing Engineering Documentations, such as project specifications, MRs, TBE, Vendor's documents review and comments and so on.
- Good computer skill at the chemical equipment design software used, for SW6, Pvelite, Tank, Compressor and normal software Excel, Word and CAD etc.
- Solid team work spirit, and good communication skill with Client, Supplier and Contractors; good English language skill on both writing and speaking; be able to set up a good relationship with other disciplines in work.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Candidate should be hold one Bachelor Degree on Chemical Equipment and Mechanism Discipline with above 3 years working experience on chemical equipment works; or hold one College Graduated Certificate with above 5 years working experience on chemical equipment works.
- Candidate held one Bachelor Degree on other similar disciplines should be with above 5 years working experience on chemical equipment works; or held one College Graduated Certificate should be with above 8 years working experience on chemical equipment works.
- New excellent graduated candidate will be welcome; they shall have excellent English skill and good learning attitude and Bachelor Degree on Chemical Equipment Discipline with good graduate.
