Commodity Sourcing Specialist – BMAP Supply Chain

Key Responsibility
？ Develop regional sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts and cooperating operating procedures for Foam business with supplier primarily based in China(may possibly be extended to other countries if opportunity justify) in support of profitable growth and cost reduction of business unit and company objectives;
？ Actively manage all strategic aspects of procurement. Seek out and identify opportunities to leverage across different projects, regions, and businesses;
？ Drive change that has significant business impact, such as novel sourcing strategy and external deal opportunities. Present recommendations to senior executives;
？ Analyze and optimize purchasing acceptance standard to develop a reasonable supply base to meet operation requirements with high quality and low cost.
？ Support global procurement strategy implementation in the region;
？ Analyze data to better understand Asian markets, competition, cost position, and growth opportunities;
？ Develop effective network in the China Chemical/mineral industry. Develop and manage supplier relationship;
？ Run supplier assessment, supplier development, and qualification&allocation process with support of cross-function team;
？ Advise and influence business managers and executives on changing market conditions and analyze alternate supply arrangement including assessments on potential industry development;
？ Be responsible for cost saving through cross function team work;
？ Commodity sourcing database set-up and maintenance;
Competencies & Qualifications:
？ College or above degree, preferable in Chemicals/Polymers/Silicon Materials;
？ Over 5 years purchasing/sourcing (over 3 years above as purchasing/sourcing manager) in chemical/building material industry;
？ A quick learner and real project manager with proficient interpersonal communication(Open, proactive, and initiative, and results oriented) and persuasion skills;
？ Good ethics
？ Be sensitive to cost reduction, process improvement opportunities;
？ CPM is preferred;
？ Good computer skills and proficient oral&written English;
？ Familiar with Practical Experience in SAP;
？ Familiar with sourcing tools(pricing, terms&conditions, TCO calc, allocation etc.)
？ Experience in supply chain design and re-design are preferred;
