Be Corporate eyes and ears on the ground in a given region with regards to compensation and benefits programs, practices, trends and issues
Partner in the development of Company’s compensation and benefits policies and programs for Asia by conducting market research and analysis and making recommendations based on local needs/practices that adhere to Company’s stated Compensation Philosophy
Once compensation and benefits programs are approved by Corporate, implement and administer the programs at the regional level, this includes annual bonuses, focal reviews, annual stock program, and local benefits programs
Complete regional salary/benefits surveys as directed by Corporate, evaluate current surveys and make recommendations as needed with regards to changes/additions to survey mix
Conduct job evaluations using market analysis and internal pay structures and comparisons.
Enroll new employees in benefit programs and provide customer service to existing employees with questions and/or issues pertaining to benefits
Assist with new employee new hire orientation as needed
Interface with local benefit carriers and partner with Corporate as needed to review programs and or implement new vendors/programs.
Participate in testing of new systems applications
Support the regional Business Partner in conducting equity analyses and reviewing job offers.
Assist with intranet web site (content) and systems updates/enhancements
Prepare statistical data, special reports, basic analysis as needed and other job duties as required.
Research and coordinate legal and immigration issues pertaining to employee mobility within the region.
Prepare Employee Change Document for compensation and position changes as well as leave of absences and submit to Corporate for processing
Support employees as needed in local office on general HR issues

Position requires:
Exceptional analytical thinking skills, with experience influencing management with well thought out recommendations based on data. Must be able to lead and build consensus with stakeholders. Highly developed interpersonal skills with a proven track record of connected relationships, teamwork and business partnerships.
A relentless approach to nailing the details, driving process and managing to goals; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills required.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Strong systems skills required particularly Excel. Experience with Crystal reporting is desired.
The ability to communicate clearly and deal with employees at all levels
The ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, recognize trends and identify systemic approaches to solving problems.
Creative problem solving skills; a track record of efficiently using and allocating resources while maximizing results.
Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
At least 5 years of progressive compensation and benefits experience with a U.S. headquartered high tech company operating globally
