Business Unit Information

The Kuehne + Nagel Legal Department is dedicated to provide high-level legal support to secure and extend our business, to comply with national and international laws and regulations as well as to mitigate legal risks. It supports the Kuehne + Nagel-Group and all Business Units and Functional Units with legal know-how in connection with close understanding of our business. 




Job Description

• To be responsible for all legal related matter for South China, Hong Kong and Macau.


• Contract reviewing & Management


• Claim handling / coordinating


• Coordination with external lawyer for litigation or arbitration


• Legal / liability risk training


• Translation


• Compliance assignment including training


• Communication with marine liability insurance / underwriter


• License management


• Other legal matter assigned by company management


• Realize Hong Kong law is a plus


• Realize Contract Logistics Service is a plus


• Be able to work independently
  
  
  
  

Requirements to Candidates

• LLM or LLB graduated from famous local law school or overseas


• At least 8 years legal working experience in law firm, freight forwarding, shipping, marine underwriter, or other relative industry.


• Perfect communication skill


• Perfect English language skill (oral and written), especially be able to do the legal translation professionally
