laboratory Supervisor(世界500强石化公司,投资数亿新建工厂职位,有海外培训)


SUMMARY

Reporting to the Process Engineering & Lab Management Manager, the Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for activities to ensure the quality control of raw materials, intermediate products and finish products. He manages the laboratory and his staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Ensures that all activities carried out as well as those he/she delegates his/her staff are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted;
? Manages the budget of the laboratory;
? Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of key laboratory equipment
? Manages the laboratory staff;
? Ensures that working conditions are applied according to internal procedures and product safety;
? Ensures the development of the staff under his/her responsibility;
? Ensures the link between the laboratory staff and other employees of the company;
? Performs or assists in the implementation of technical, improvement or research projects in his/her field of expertise;
? Provides training to lab technicians and less experienced staff.
? Manages the stock of chemicals and lab consumables.
? Manages and updates the laboratory software (LIMS)
? Manages the set up of the new laboratory.
? Ensures the proper operation and reliability of all laboratory equipment and online analyzers;
? In collaboration with logistics, coordinates activities relating to the vessel loading of finish products and unloading of raw materials;
? Performs tasks relating to mandates entrusted to him/her;
? Develops and updates internal procedures and manuals relating to his field of expertise;
? Contributes to the achievement of the mission of the company, adheres to company's values and ensures that members of his/her department are doing the same.
PROFILE
? Required Qualifications:
o Holds a bachelor degree in chemistry;
o At least 8-year working experience in lab field with three to five-year experience in the supervision of a laboratory in chemical industry, preferably in petrochemical or pharmaceutical industry;
o Good knowledge of chromatography;
? Preferrable if the candidate has the experience of setting up a new lab.
? Skills and Aptitudes:
o Integrity and professional ethics;
o Team spirit and good skills in people management;
o Capacity to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationship;
o Oral and written communication;
o Accept training oversees and binding with "Training Agreement".
o Ability to work under pressure
o Excellent coaching skills
o Familiar with quality tools application.
o Fluent in Mandarin and English.
