MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demand Planning Focused:
· Manage demand & supply planning initiatives
· Work closely with commercial leadership to compile and manage integrated demand plans
· Facilitate demand planning meetings
· Act as lead communicator, across business functions, regarding demand plans; lead coordination efforts with operations, finance, customer service, etc.
· Support product life cycle management as it relates to demand & supply plans
· Supply Planning & Review to identify the supply constraints for the forward months
· Assist with financial analysis and integration to quantify sales, margins, etc.
· Routinely perform root cause analysis to drive forecast quality improvements
· Develop, track and implement forecast quality improvement plans
· Gather and report necessary Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics
· Act as the Demand Solutions (DS) super-user for forecast & replenishment management: business and IT liaison
· Play a leadership role in defining process requirements, including software and reporting implementations
· Routinely maintain Demand Solutions' system data
· Lead or support additional analysis as needed
· Monthly Sales Forecast:
1) Collect sales forecast from sales people monthly. Review with team to ensure the rationality;
2) On-time delivery of forecast data to related departments
· Inventory Management: Make reasonable inventory plan to best balance on-time goods delivery vs. inventory expense
· Buyer team Management

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
· Strong background in forecasting and planning
· Excellent analytical skills
· Application of statistical analysis
· Knowledge of supply chain
· Solid financial analysis abilities
· Proven leadership skills
· Effective communication skills, including verbal and presentation skills
· Ability to work across organizational boundaries and levels; team-oriented
· Experience in project management or software implementations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:
· BS in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related experience
· MBA preferred
· At least 2 - 5 years of forecasting and planning experience
· Knowledge of Demand Solutions & SAP preferred
· Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
