Reporting to the Production Manager, the Operator Team Leader manages a team of operators and ensure the operation is running smoothly according to established safety procedure, quality standard and the production planification

RESPONSaBILITIES
q   Ensures that all activities carried out as well as those he/she delegates his/her staff are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company and to practices generally accepted;
q   Manages operators of his/her team;
q   Ensures that working conditions are applied according to internal procedures and documents.
q   Ensures the development of the staff under his/her responsibility;
q   Ensures the link between his/her team and other employees of the company;
q   Ensures the link between his/her team and the management of the company;
q   Participates to the planning of major shutdowns;
q   Issues various work permits to ensure compliance with safety standards;
q   Leads the emergency response brigade;
q   Collaborates with the Production Manager to the improvement of the process and management system of his/her sector;
q   Participates to the development and update of the documentation relating to the operation;
q   Notifies Maintenance personnel to correct equipment malfunctions
q   Collaborates with the Maintenance Department to prioritize daily work
q   Performs the daily inventory and production balance from the plant.
q   Performs tasks related to mandates entrusted to him/her;
q   Contributes to the achievement of the mission of the company, adheres to company’s values and ensures that members of his/her area are doing the same.
PROFILE
q   Required Qualifications:
§  Preferable holds a college degree in Chemical Process Technology or an equivalence;
§  Five-year experience as an operator in the petrochemical field plus 2-3 years team leader experience;
q   Skills and Aptitudes:

§  Capacity to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationship;
§  Oral and written communication;
n  Skills in team/people management;
n  Integrity and professional ethics;
n  Capacity to work at heights;
n  Capacity to work on rotation shifts;
n  Basic computers skills
n  Fluent in Mandarin
n  workable English in reading and writing, basic communication skill in oral English
