Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
Safety
Leads the safety and housekeeping efforts of the production department.
Ensures that all EHS laws and regulations are followed.
Responsible for the enforcement and implementation of the safety, health and environmental policies and procedures of the plant, the corporation and the government in the production department.
Assists EHS manager in establishing the EHS management system, Corporate Safety System so that employees are injury free and have a level degree of consciousness about safety and environmental issues.
Production
Directs production process, board mill and fabrication, from raw material receiving board forming, to fabrication and packaging.
Leads production organization development strategies, both personnel and department integration.
Directs continues production process improvement activities aimed at being the best-cost supplier.
Develops long-term strategies to assure continued growth of Shanghai plant ceiling business.
Cost control and within the budget.
Lead and support all Lean initiatives in the production department.
Customer Services
Seeks customer's needs and develops strategies for increasing customer satisfaction.
OTHERS
Maintains effective liaison with other areas of ABP management (Sales and Marketing, MTS).

Organizational Relationships:
Reports to Plant Manager
Supervises 155 person in the department

Measures of Effectiveness:
Safety Performance: OSHA Recordable, Lost Time Accident
Claims as a percentage of sales
Productivity (process effectiveness, line speed, direct cost)
Conformance to the production schedule
Employee satisfaction, behavior and morale

Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years manufacturing experience in a continuous manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Successful track record of achieving plant operational goals.
Proven leadership, team building and organization skills, along with the ability to build trust and integrity
Good command of English
