Job Title：Engineering Manager

Purpose
1. Function as the Engineering Manager leader to support Project Manager for project schedule, cost and quality control;
2. Function as the Engineering Manager for Discipline management;
3. Function as the Engineering Manager for assisting Project Manager to communication with clients for technical issue, control the information distribution;
4. Function as the Engineering Manager for development and optimization of design to meet clients requirements, evaluation of design input from clients;
5. Function as the Engineering Manager for execution check/review procedure;
6. Function as the Engineering Manager for ensure design product meet MWP’s format and regulation;
7. Coordinate with procurement group.

Principle Accountabilities1.
1.Develop deliverable list based on project requirement, scheme project design schedule, estimate manpower and coordinate with Engineering Department Director;
2. Leading design team to fully understanding scope of work and requirement from client, conduct work breakdown;
3. Coordination with disciplines, develop detail design phase schedule of disciplines, design input and output matrix;
4. Control technical communication with client and between disciplines;
5. Establish document control system, monitor the project document filing;
6. Arrange team meeting, organize technical discussion meeting;
7. Scheme design specification for whole team;
8. Control design document format and content;
9. Scheme design document number system;
10. Organize team check, review, cross check activity and monitor result;
11. Coordinate and solve problems between disciplines;
12. Coordinate design team and procurement team;
13. Leading technical discussion with client;
14. Control clarification with vendor;
15. Write weekly report to Project Manager.

Competencies Required1.
1.Rich experience and strong technical background for design
management, familiar with design procedure;
2. Wide design knowledge of different disciplines;
3. Familiar with MWP design specification;
4. Familiar with design delivery list and depth for every phase design, such as cost estimate; conceptual design; basic engineering design; preliminary design; detail design;
5. Good responsibility, good team work spirit;
6. Effective communication skill with fluent spoken, listening, reading and written English.

Qualifications1.
1.Degree in Engineering Management, at least 10 years multi project working experience, at least 5 years of design management experience;
2. Rich experience of design scheme schedule, control;
3. Must be capable of working in a team environment;
4. Must have experience in working with people of different culture and backgrounds;
5. Rich experience for coordination with other disciplines, familiar with the scope of work split with relevant disciplines.
