职位描述
Responsibilities:
1.Conduct manufacturing footprint optimization studies to support APA business growth and alignment of regional powertrain operations within the global framework.
2.Coordinate with plants to find solutions for manufacturing planning issues and provide experience sharing within the region.
3.Provide assistance to PTO manufacturing plants and external suppliers as required to resolve pre- and post-launch production issues and drive productivity and quality improvements.
4.Review MBO Study Letters and assumptions and communicate them to plants, and support the plants to ensure responses are provided timely to MBO.
5.Support the Global Capacity Planning process working with MBO and the Powertrain Plants to review and concur with the capacity constraint tool database input.
6.For New Model Programs:
A. Develop and support new model program cost studies and projects.
B. Support Program Governance reviews, ensuring preparation of Mfg Engineering material including for Checkpoint / Milestone Reviews, PBR’s, and New Model Launch Reviews.
C. Support resolution of major program issues and achievement of program objectives with other organizations (i.e. PD, Finance, Planning, etc.), OEM's and EP suppliers
D. Analyze overall program timing and highlight areas for concern, improvement
E. Ensure processes, facilities, equipment, and tooling is provided for new programs which fully meet program objectives and BoP and FPS principles.
F. Assist China JV’s in coordinating information input from Ford / APA and with concern resolution supporting the Government Approval process.
7.Support development of manufacturing inputs for investment, launch, and resource requirements into the annual Business Plan for APA.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor/Master Degree
2.5 to 8 years working experience
3.Preferred previous experience: Automotive Powertrain Manufactuing preferred. Business Development and Planning.
4.Area of professional exposure (technical skills):
- Good understanding/experience of overall PTO processes and manufacturing business environment.
- Advanced knowledge of Capacity Planning and the links with other key functions, such as MP&L and PD Planning
- Ability to conduct detailed Manufacturing planning analysis and conclude clear direction
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization in auto industry
- New Model Launch experience
5.Functional skills:
A. Basic knowledge and practical experience with powertrain manufacturing; engineering, production, or planning
