Responsibilities:
Lead the development, planning and implementation of product communications activities for two new performance products which will be introduced to China to industry-leading standards in support of Ford China's accelerated growth plan in the market, including:
1.To develop product editorial plan and content to promote the brand/product reputation;
2.To Maintain key messages and talking points on key product information as well as issues management such as product recalls
3.To collect and share competitive product-related intelligence to support the development of Ford China's product communications strategies and plans;
4.To build and maintain a close relationship with target media and all internal stakeholders;
5.To maintain close contact with JV product communications team to ensure alignment and synergy in product communications in China;
6.To manage third-party agencies, if any, to ensure that agency partner deliver high quality programs/launch assets in a cost-effective manner.
Qualification:
1.Bachelor degree or above with emphasis on communications, Public Relations, Marketing
2.5-8 years product communications working experience in multi-national company or PR agency
3.Strong knowledge on auto products and technologies. Marketing knowledge is a bonus.
4.Good speaking, listening and writing skills in both English and Mandarin
5.Good communications skills
6.Functional skills: Key stakeholder/Media relations: ability to build and maintain excellent media/key stakeholder relations to advance overall team goals.
Strategic orientation: Good capability in messaging development and strategizing product communications programs.
7.Job specific skills: Market/Product knowledge: Strong understanding of Company's product lineup and Ford institutional knowledge
Customer focus: Understand the specific needs of each media outlet or reporter and internal stakeholders
