Tasks:
1: Gathers and documents business requirements in Business Requirements Document (BRD) with business partners and business users.
2: Assists with translation of business requirements into IT design specifications.
3: Creates current state ("as is") process models with business partners
4: Creates future state ("to be") process models with business partners
5: Establishes roadmap for achieving future state with business and IT partners
6: Facilitates chartering sessions with business and IT partners
7: Works with business partners to identify project business value and associated metrics
8: Presents and reviews business analysis and reengineering results of tasks to mid-level IT and business partner management.
9: Develops cost/business value projections.
10: Collaborates with internal specialists to research business and technology trends appropriate to business and IT solution definition
11: Provides technical mentoring to Associate Business Analysts.
12: Participates in the planning, creation, and execution of business partner testing and acceptance
13: Defines training strategy and plan.
14: Balances differing needs and expectations of customers, users and stakeholders through all project phases.
15: Facilitates completion of Application Control Review (ACR) with business
Requirements:
Technical skills
1.3+ years IT experience including Associate Business Analyst
2.Experience on multiple projects and familiarity with IT solution delivery
3.Process mapping experience using various tools (i.e., Flow charter)
4.Experience in creating functional and design specifications
5.Has performed Associate Business Analyst role on multiple projects
6.Has participated on multiple 6-Sigma projects usually under direction of a BB/MBB
Functional skills:
Certification & Training
1.Formal facilitation and chartering training
2.Specialized coursework in supported business domain areas (e.g., FPDS/FPS process)
3.6-Sigma (DMAIC and DFSS) green belt level
4.Negotiation/change management/conflict management training
5.Continuing subject matter seminar/group association participation
6.Business Analysis process training
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
Certifications:
Optional but Prefer:
Project Management Professional (PMP);
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
