MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Meetings with design engineers to discuss product applications and benefits
- Technical presentations to design institutes and design firms
- Jobsite visits to conduct on-site testing or installation training
- Providing technical recommendations or assistance to support sales staff
- Conducting technical competitive analysis on other products in the market
- Detailed engineering calculations according to design requirements
- Support engineers in using the Powers design software
- Attending seminars and conventions to promote the Powers products
- Technical problem solving

Qualifications:

- University degree in civil engineering or structural engineering
- Master’s degree in civil or structural engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of work experience in engineering field, engineering sales preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in fastening or anchoring position
- Able to read, write, analyze and interpret technical drawings, designs, documents and standards in both English and Chinese
- Able to work with high-level mathematical concepts such as physics, geometry and probability
- Familiar with computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
