MISSION
The principal aim is to lead both visual and strategic Merchandising guidelines according to the Mango standards and to coordinate the product strategy in collaboration with PMD .

DUTIES:

To evaluate and monitor:
- Ensuring the right implementation of the merchandising standards.
- Be in charge of adapting the Merchandising standard to the needs of the market.
- Ensuring the right V.M. implementation according to the product strategy (in agreement with PMD) (Potential Best Sellers and Key Items)
- Follow up the Money mapping project (Casio Rotation Scanner)
- Interface between PMD and Retail
- Definition of the potential best-seller for the country in cooperation with PMD
- Organisation and coordination of Promotions in collaboration with PMD
- Cooperation when developing the Price strategy
- Supervision of the shop transfers
- Market research and trend scouting (Demanding of special Items for the market) (NOT for all countries)
- Participation in the classification of the shops.


People management:
Evaluation of the progress and development of the V.M. Supervisors and Flying Merchandisers
To keep the Country Manager and Retail Coordinator informed of all V.M. and product issues.

- This person has to be creative and sensitive to fashion.
- Compatible for team-work and assume the leadership
- Good communicator inside and outside the team
- Capable to take decisions and assume the responsibility of them
- Be organised and be able to work independent
- Secure of him/herself and resolute
- Be able to set up priorities and work under pressure
- Good knowledge of MS-Office (Excel) and Photoshop
