I. JOB IDENTIFICATION
Job Title: Export Business Officer Department:Export
II. JOB PURPOSE
The export department is the central department that coordinates all aspects of export sales for all Saint-Gobain Pipelines division in China (all markets except mainland China). The export business officer will assist the export Supervisor in the preparation and execution of all exports activities in MAS.
S/he will execute all export activities in MAS site that procedures and rules are respected.
She will be responsible for keeping a precise follow-up of the export activity and to make a reporting on his/her own responsible tasks regularly.
She/He will establish and/or maintain close relationship with internal related departments, banks, CCPIT and some other third parties if required.
III. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Be the correspondent for export sales admin for all commercial issues related to preparation and execution with instructions and guidance from export supervisor/export Sales Admin Manager.
? Coordinate with all departments involved and third parties, the execution of export orders in accordance with the prevailing procedures and instructions given by export supervisor/export Sales Admin Manager in order to execute export orders smoothly within time constrains as per contract and/or L/C requirements.
? Checking orders if they are in conformity with valid commercial offers and make corresponding order analysis and order review/OCM instructed by export supervisor/export Sales Admin Manager.
? Prepare and send the appropriate documents necessary to export client on time.
? For payment by L/C, participation to all L/C reviews and preparation of accurate commercial documents and collection of other documents to be given timely for presentation to Bank, working together with credit control for this presentation of documents.
? Tight follow up of payment collection.
? Organization of filing of all documents related with enquiry/offer/contract/L/C/ documents/courier receipt in accordance with rules of the company and instructions by Export Supervisor/ export sales manager.
? Make sure to respect the procedures as implemented for all export activities.
IV. ORGANIZATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIP
? Reporting to Export Supervisor
V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
? Located in Maanshan & Xuzhou
? The working language will be English and Mandarin
? Close relationship with PAMEX, Finance, Shipping, Quality Departments, CCPIT, Banks and third party inspection body.
? Irregular working time possible
VI. JOB QUALIFICATIONS
? Good sense of responsibility, honesty, ability to handle confidential information and proactive working attitudes.
? Proficiency in English language (spoken and written)
? Good command of Microsoft Office Pack
? Mobility when necessary and flexibility in term of working hours
? Hard-worker and able to sustain pressure.
? Attention to details.
? Easy-going person in multicultural environment with team spirit
? Excellent abilities in self-organization (filing, planning, setting priorities….)
