职位描述
Mission of Function:
- Give technical support to business units through projects, management of R&D staff working with technical projects. Contact and cooperation with Siemens Energy T’s units in China and globally.
- Technical Innovation and Scouting, together with staff keep track of latest development in the team’s working areas
- Focus on 电器(高压)智能化 intelligentization of high voltage(>110KV) electric equipment according to market's need
- Discussions with business units and work together with global R&D colleagues on support projects, coordinates with related department, give technical support to R&D and Business Unit projects, planning of R&D projects
- Project execution and management (project proposal, project plan, risk analysis, etc), review technical documents and drawings, ensure timely and qualified delivery
- Identify opportunities for products and develop SMART and Cost innovations which are applicable to China market and identify new working fields for E T in China
- Communicate with local universities, industry institutes and Chinese government institutions; build up a valuable network in the field of power transmission, cooperation with external partners
- Fully understand market and technology status of power transmission equipments in China, and put forward constructive and independent ideas and opinions based on China’s power transmission technologies status

- Internal: Superior R&D director, junior R&D/engineering staff, BU's Sales /Manufacturing colleagues; Global R&D colleagues
- External: Customer R&D / pilot development; external research institutions
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks:
In charge of Team R&D work:
- Technical Innovation and Scouting, together with staff keep track of latest development in the team’s working areas
- Supervising/organizing the process of design, simulation, test and optimization of GIS (or other high voltage power products)
- Collaborating with Siemens global R&D on knowledge sharing and technology innovation
Internal people management:
- Team build-up
- Coaching junior engineer; knowledge and skills sharing
- Lead related training/exchange activities
Recruiting new R&D employees
Technologies:
- Know-how on traditional high voltage (above 110KV) power product/equipment (Switch gear, breaker, transformer mutual inductor etc.)
- Experience with primary system operation
- Experience with standards and test of primary equipment
- Knowledge and Experience with secondary system, power system automation, (substation automation, digital substation, monitoring, protection etc.)
- Experience with equipment conditioning monitoring, lifecycle management
- Know-how on technologies for smart or intelligent electric equipment (different kind of sensor principle and application, system integration/fusion, communication etc.)
Methodologies:
- Project management
- Communication skills
- Moderation and presentation techniques
Profess. Knowledge:
- English
- German (not essential but a strong plus)
- Microsoft Office Packages
Professional:
- Master degree or above in - high voltage equipment,(
- Strong business sense in this industrial field
- Minimum of 5 years R&D experiences in electrical power system as follows:
Strong competence in the practical application of monitoring/measurement in power system
Knowledge of power system automation
Understand theory and technologies of high voltage equipments / components such as GIS, Air switchgear, breaker, transformer etc
Understand primary system operation
- Working experiences with top 500 international companies is strongly preferred
Project / Process:
- Proven strong ability to lead R&D/Engineering team
Others:
Leadership:
- Strong communication, people management, coordination, presentation skills. Strong customer relationship management skill a plus
Intercultural:
- Experiences with international working environment is mandatory. Oversea working experiences preferred
Frequent international/domestic travel
- Technical knowledge in the fields: sensor application/integration and development, power products, mechanical and material investigation and testing, computer simulations etc
- Genuine interest of solving technical problems
- Be well structured and able to challenge his team members to strive for the best
- Know well about the status of current technology, market and grid operation in the field of power system
- Have good network with Grid Company, universities, R&D institutes, and government institutions in the field of power transmission in China
- Be familiar with Siemens HV product portfolio / technologies is preferable 高压电器) or intelligentization of high voltage electric equipment (高压电器智能化 ) or related majors
