Position Summary:

The Web Designer / Campaign Developer, more specifically Email Campaign Developer is responsible for preparation and deployment of HTML and text email content as well as the dynamic integration into a proprietary email delivery platform.

Email marketing is the backbone of the most digital marketing programs. The Web Designer / Campaign Developer’s job is to provide professional email marketing services for the world’s top commercial brands, help marketers develop a more customer-centric approach, to fully leverage the potential of email channel.

Position Responsibilities:

· Dynamic content coding, link tracking and content change management

· Email deployment, basic send and deliverability monitoring using proprietary email platform

· Applying dynamic content rules and configuring link tracking on SAAS platform

· Quality assurance of dynamic content and email, meeting deadlines for content publication

· Coordinating and communicating content change requests and production schedule with teammates in the U.S. and China

· Serving as expert on email best practices and educating others, directing and supervising 3-5 junior resources

Skills/Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, ecommerce, internet or relevant field

· Fluent in English

· Minimum 2+ years of working experience in web front-end design and coding

· Proficient in web development technologies and tools such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver

· Experience using file/version control programs, e.g. Subversion, Version cue

· Experience working with email development marketing platform, a plus, e.g. ExactTarget, CheetahMail, Aprimo

· Basic understanding of email marketing concepts

· Superior attention to detail

· Ability to function in a high pressure/high ambiguity environment

· Advanced organizational, time-management and work prioritization skills

· Passion for learning new skills, expanding experience, strong interpersonal communication skills and strong work ethic
