Tekelec is looking for a Design Support Engineer for our Nanjing, China R&D. The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating/supporting, validation and verification of Tekelec PCRF solutions.


Role and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the design of Web architecture, implementation, Unit tests and technical support.
· Lay down software specification, develop framework and implementation scheme.
· Resign and maintain the existing web system with new businesses and customer's requirements.
· Provide solutions on migrating the legacy web system to the new system.
· Be able to complete coding for core module and guide programmers to do module design, coding.
· Determine the extern interfaces to the third party basing on specification.

Qualifications:
· Proficient in Java, PHP language, one scripting language of perl, python, ruby, expertly unix shell programme.
· Familiar with Apache, Tomcat, Red5 server.
· Familiar with RDMS and Memory database.
· Proficient in TCP/IP deal, use tool to do TCP packet analysis expertly.
· Familiar with performance test tools under LINUX.
· Familiar with Servlet/JSP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX and other Web development technologies.
· Definite cognition and comprehension of distributed computing.
· Knowledge of software development methodology, build tools and product life cycle.
· Excellent English reading and writing skills. Good English oral communication is desired.
· Strong communication skills required.
· Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a difference in a dynamic, fast paced startup organization.
· BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Masters degree is a plus, but is not required.
