Technical Service Engineer，LHD

JOB PURPOSE:

Contribute to the customer acceptance and profitability of Atlas Copco LHD machines and product support by providing engineering evaluations and recommendations for the design new machines, and engineering analysis and recommendations for product improvement.

· Sales Company and Dealer Product Support Managers, and Sales Managers.

· Customer Operations Managers, Equipment Managers, and technical staff.

· Component supplier managers, representatives, and technical staff

JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Product training for operators, tunnel- and mine engineers, maintenance staff and service engineers of CC, the job also included development of training material in collaboration with the Training Department in Parts & Services.

2. Actively participate in product development projects, such as responsible for field test, joining the function test, be involved in the projects.

3. FSM: Address technical problems reported by our Customer Centers and drive for quick solutions.

4. Technical Service is also responsible for warranty handling and product safety matters.

5. Support technical documentation to update instructions, service schedules and part books.

6. Support to Capital Equipment and Parts & Services in marketing and sales activities.

7. Support to the service department in Customer Centers in technical issues where it is required.

8. Starting-up & Commissioning for the first machine in the market

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training, & Experience:

Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical knowledge, and two to five (2 to 5) years experience with service or design & development of related extreme-service mobile equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

·It is necessary to have the engineering ability to identify, analyze, and document structural, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or performance-related problems with extreme-service mobile equipment.

·Excellent oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills are necessary.

·It is necessary to be willing and able to travel internationally, and be willing to adapt to a wide variety of underground mining operations and local cultures.

·Excellence in English is required

·Command of situation involving: interruptions, parallel processes, independent action or judgment in working out problems, performing under time constraints.
