Job description:
The URE division has a wide variety of products that are produced in Nanjing and a number of products where the site is product responsible. In order to support the product maintenance and product development, Atlas Copco Nanjing is growing the Design and Development department. A Project Manager in the Design and Development department is a cross functional role and will be responsible for achieving product cost and schedule targets. The Project Manager has overall project responsibility and must provide coordination and support between marketing, engineering, sourcing, production, aftermarket, and service functions. As a Project Manager you will have following responsibilities:

-Ensure projects have enough visibility and resources to be successful.
-Ensure the deliverables from the projects meets or exceeds targets and expectations.
-Systematically manage projects; clearly define timelines, milestones, and gates in accordance with the company's project manual.
-Provide an always up-to-date one glance visualization of project status.
-Formulate corrective action plans with stakeholders and drive their completion.
-Develop a proactive approach and set an outstanding example for others.

As Project Manager you will have an important role in the URE D&D Department and work closely with many others in several functional areas. Your task as a Project Manager is to ensure the projects are completed on target, on time, and on budget.

This position will report to URE Design and Development Manager.

Competence requirements
?Excellent command of English and Chinese, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
?Experienced in project management in a large multinational company.
?Ability to lead and influence others without having direct authority.
?Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize and structure work in a dynamic environment and in collaboration with colleagues.
?Background in engineering and/or parts and service in a scientific or industrial setting is desirable.
?Experience in the mining industry is desirable.

Knowledge / Educational requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Experience leading medium to large projects in a multinational company. A breadth of experience in design, manufacturing, and/or purchasing, in an industrial company is desirable.
