We are building an IT team based in Shanghai and Nanjing that will manage our IT Services throughout the Asia Pacific Region as an integral part of our Global IT Organization.

We are looking to recruit individuals who seek a long term career in the management of IT services of a Global Organization.

Currently our team is significantly staffed with International employees bringing their expertise and experience to help our growth in China. Over time we are looking to significantly decrease this dependency by promoting internally developed local employees.

Beneficial Experience:

• Automotive Dealership/Sales support applications
• Automotive B2C
• Automotive/Manufacturing IT
• Experience in using industry leading tools/techniques to document/maintain solution models and procedures. Process mapping experience using various tools (MS VISIO). UML/AGILE Knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business requirements, including analysis, detailed business requirements specifications development, design and high-level project costs
• Partner with the customers to drive business process reengineering efforts
• Remain aware of technical needs of the assigned customer group
• Develop the conceptual model of business processes to demonstrate future customer requirements
• Represent customer and user requirements through application development, enhancement, and maintenance
• Develop and deliver presentations and various business models to communicate an understanding of business, user and functional requirements
• Balance differing needs and expectations of customers, users and stakeholders through all project phases
• Participates in the planning, creation, and execution of business partner testing and acceptance
• Ensure designs and solutions include cross discipline and cross organizational integration considerations and meet specifications.
• Ensure adherence to appropriate standards and processes for solutions design, development, testing or integration.
• Comply with appropriate standards and processes for solution design, development, testing, or integration.
• Contribute to the development of Ford IT standards for solutions design, development, testing or integration.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field
• 3 to 7 years + experience

Playing a key role in product development Ford’s elite REC team helps to accelerate the introduction of exciting new Ford technologies to China. Manufacturing technology is another major focus of REC, with our researchers and engineers designing systems, processes, components and state-of-the-art technology into all our vehicles in APA. In addition, as home for Ford’s China Purchasing Office, REC purchasing buyers and engineers manage supplier relationships, set manufacturing strategies, and collaborate with key suppliers on developing new technologies.
REC currently employs more than 1,000 talented Chinese and international staff. In early 2012, the REC facility doubled its capacity with the opening of a second REC engineering building.
