Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and improve process, procure, install and provide technical support for Automation Equipment for the (10) Stamping Plants in Asia Pacific.
• Provide fixed investment expenditures to support new model, capacity, modernization, emergency, & PMI actions.
• Provide technical and investment analysis for project approvals.( PAR).
• Coordinate Project approval Process and participate in Approval Review Meetings for all Plant and Division issued projects
• Provide Project Funding Control for all New Model and Plant Projects related to Equipment Automation purchase.
• Supervise equipment competitive analysis (Benchmarking).
• Control automation pressroom equipment inventory, disposition and storage through the FAME systems.
• Support automation technology forums and other divisional initiatives.
• Assist plants when requested with technical expertise at Press Lines, Blanking Lines, Cranes & Scrap Conveyor automation.
• Lead in new/upgraded equipment implementation and planning for Foot Printing and Global Standardization
• Develop Press Interlocking with Dies and other equipment & Devices( IDLE Stands).
• Provide/procure equipment simulations making required adjustment on site.
• Attend Engineering kick-off meetings and various internal and external program reviews.
• Interface with all groups in a cooperative effort to implement and control programs to meet timing & cost objectives.
• Press Lines Automation Curves Engineering & Boom Tooling Engineering Implementation for Inter press, EOL, FOL, ADCT performing improvements to get targets.
• Review and approve section output prior to submittal to other organizations.
• Provide technical training for employees as needed.
• Monitor DT(P3) Web and review Baseline Reports for downtime and performance analysis for continuous improvement in equipment quality performance, cost and timing.
• Control section overtime, travel and other related expense budgets.
• Develop and Implement Strategies to support the five year Stamping Business Plan.
• Participate in ISR Audits to support FTPM, MOS & FPS Initiatives.

Preferred previous experiences / competencies:

• Bachelor degree in Stamping Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• 4-6 years of Experience
• Exposure to stamping facilities Engineering activities including the purchase, installation, HLTO and launching these systems.
• Prior experience stamping Mfg. Engineering production.
