Major Responsibilities:
- This position is to provide overall L&D solutions to functions based in REC by leveraging the regional and global L&D resources. It includes, team Leadership and management of all Learning & Development activities in Nanjing, China;
The ADDIE cycle for the College of Leadership & Professional Development;
o Analyze - oversee the collection of learning needs analysis for REC, Nanjing
o Liaise with AP College of LPD for design/development of REC priority LPD items
§ Collaborate with internal customers and senior management team to determine training needs and appropriate methods of delivery
o Delivery/facilitation skills, ability to coach/teach others
§ Implement AP learning & development programs, in Nanjing in support of the Build strategy to provide employees and managers with the leadership & professional development skills to successfully achieve their job goals/objectives.
§ Support supervisors and managers to improve their interpersonal/ leadership skills in order to deal more effectively with employees by follow up workshop.
§ Propose options for delivering learning interventions (instructor-led, self-study guides, eLearning, etc.) and facilitate training activities
o Develop Train the Trainer(TTT) program in REC, aligning REC needs with Regional/Global programs. Supervise/ evaluate trainer, evaluate performance, and refer trainers to classes for skill development.
o Evaluation
§ Design and implement evaluations that measure training effectiveness using Regional and Global standards.
- Voice of the customer for REC, Nanjing in key Workforce Capability programs (Onboarding, Graduate Program, College of Leadership & Professional Development, Functional Colleges)
- Formulates training policies and schedules based on knowledge of identified training needs, internal processes, business systems and/or changes in products, procedures or services
o Manage all L&D policy items, including Education Sponsorship, Overseas Training etc
Support Functional college development in REC, Nanjing
o Support REC based functions (MFG, PD, Purchasing) to adequately resource the establishment of Functional Colleges to support REC, (e.g. course, trainer, materials information)
o Guide/ coach function training coordinators to conduct training needs collection, analyze and deliver follow up sessions in REC
o Share information & resources across REC based colleges,
o Deliver the change management plan to support REC's transition from HR Lead Technical/functional L&D to Functional College lead Technical/functional L&D. Includes stakeholder engagement, transition planning, and communication.
- Lead people engagement activities
o Engagement Activities, and market communication sessions (Global Week of Caring, Annual Party etc)
o Drive welfare committee to run all kinds employee engagement activities smoothly, such as sports club, company/functional teambuilding, outing, global week of caring.
o Organize Town Hall Meeting quarterly
Experience and Background Skills Desired:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in English, Business or Human Resources
- Minimum 5 working years in multi-national company, engineering background is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal English language skills
- Good facilitation skills, communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and analytical skills.
- Good Excel and PPT skills.
- Ability to work with ambiguity
- Ability to influence without direct power
- Experience in change management will be highly regarded.
