Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interface with Program Teams (Marketing, Product Development, Planning, Manufacturing, etc.) on regulatory/homologation requirements and give presentations.

• Provide regulatory knowledge transfer and build competence amongst product development engineers

• Liaise with Joint Venture Partners and act as the SE&SE primary contact as defined in respective JV Orange Books.

• Work with JV Partners to acquire and provide all affected activities with applicable regulatory requirements to accomplish homologation and COP & ISC during the product development phase. This includes:
• Communicate regulatory updates to current and forecasted regulations
• Review of TIBs and PDLs to support input to program teams of applicable regulatory requirements (current and forecasted)
• Coordinate the assessment of new SDGs/PDGs and regulatory requirements, as identified through VRDs, with the Program teams.
• Provide regulatory guidance on changes to current models to determine if compliance is
• Ensure compliance plans are in place and sign-off evidence of compliance according to the global CDP&R process:
• • Conduct Regulatory PAT to oversee and track development of Compliance Demonstration Plans (CDPs) and Compliance Demonstration Reports (CDRs) submissions and provide the program with a risk assessment at appropriate major program milestones as required by GPDS
  • CDPs and CDRs status tracking and reporting at Program forums.

Requirement:

1. Engineering degree or related experience.
2. Knowledge of Chinese automotive regulations and homologation process
3. Project management
4. Effective oral and written communication skills
5. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
6. Good organizational skills and Microsoft Office literacy
7. Presentation skills
8. Strong drive for results
9. Adaptable to various work conditions
10. Native Chinese speaker with English reading and writing proficiency required
11. Prior Ford Product Development experience highly considered
