职位描述

This position is accountable for the marketing success of achieving by 2020 $500 MM BHAG driving Market Disruptor Strategy Execution in Asia. This is achieved by ensuring that we are focusing on growing the markets with the highest value to the business and by replicating the business model in new geographies.

To continue to grow 3 times Manufacturing Output this position needs to ensure:
1. Our Product offering provide the benefits to the most valuable segments,
2. We are leveraging on all the channels to access these valuable segments,
3. Our Products’ brand is effectively communicated to our most valuable segments.
4. We are entering the highest growth/gas intensity geographies/countries.


Success in this position will work effectively with the country business managers and in-country business development resources as well as the regional operational and tactical marketing managers.

The incumbent must have strong leadership and organizational skills as well as an ability to communicate and work effectively across the matrix with the other businesses and functions across the Merchant.

NATURE & SCOPE

Strategic Marketing

1 Leverage CyroEase Market Disruptor Strategy to achieve 2020 $500 BHAG within the Integrated Merchant
2 Through a consolidated view of external macro economics indicators, business environment, competitive landscape, identify and analyze high value market and customer segments, amenable size, and critical success factors to win.
3 Quantify and prioritize opportunities for growth of revenue and profits for the respective market/application segments and identify strategies and requirements to pursue such opportunities
4 Ensure timely forecasting of relevant macro economics, demand for products, market share, etc.
5 Create, develop, and execute the Asia marketing and brand plan

Market/Customer Management

Understand our product designs and service offerings are providing the benefit/value to our most valuable market/customer segments
Integrate customer experience surveys and touch points to validate value
Drive clear customer/market segmentation to not over or under serve our customers base
Provide strategic and market inputs to the Asia Merchant Marketing team
Provide marketing leadership to the in-country commercial team in CryoEase business.
Shape the implementation of the new business models
Participate in resource prioritization decisions.
Manage new offering launch and introduction in support of in-country business development team when available.

Channel Management

Identify specific channels to improve our commercial results
Accountable for managing directly and/or working with in-country team to drive optimal results to the business
Develop offerings to enhance loyalty from these channels

Business Development in new geographic entries

New Cluster/country prioritization by understanding the external environment, competitive landscape and market segment and size assessment
Develop marketing plan, and marketing collaterals with marcom team
Support business manager in developing the business plan and project timeline


Competency and Skills

Understand macro-economic that are relevant to market/customer segments that result in most valuable growth
Apply marketing organization, tools, systems, and work processes to the segment.
Develop and prioritize the market/customer sub-segmentation efforts.
Work with market research, external data, and other Merchant marketing functions to develop useable market knowledge to implement.
Work with Business development and business managers to develop appropriate market/cusotmer segments specific offering/pricing strategies and guidelines.
Maintain close coordination and collaboration with Packaged Gas, and LB marketing as needed to optimize the marketing focus for the AMG segment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following:

1) Report out timely external market trends and forecast relevant to the business that are market/segment and country specific
2) Develop marketing plan for CryoEase Market Disruptor new geographic entries
3) Work with business managers and in-country business development managers to further refine the service offerings and business model.
4) Manage and lead OEM and franchise relationship and programs in key application segments.
5) Promote company and CryoEase branding name in existing and new markets. Shape Air Products to be the recognized leader in the supply chain and technical offer in the package gas market.
6) Research and explore new market segments, such as hospital, beverage, CryoBio,etc.
7) Facilitate the development of training materials to customers, sales engineers and OEMs.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Education:
A. College degree or University education (in business or technical area preferred) an engineering, marketing.

2. Work Experience
A. At least ten (10) years of progressive commercial and/or operations experience.
B. .
C. Experience in a Multinational company is preferred.

3. Skills
A. Sales, commercial, and negotiation skills
B. Chinese (Mandarin) and listening and presentation abilities.
C. English Is needed.

4. Qualities
A. Well developed influencing skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities. Concise, strong, mature, and flexible.
B. Integrity – act with integrity and in accordance with company ethics. Ability to confront behavior not consistent with company values. Honors commitments.

E. Able to travel 50-70% of the time.
