The primary purpose of the Sr. Staffing Consultant / Manager is to strategize and execute superior talent acquisition programs for Merkle China. This organization is growing rapidly and this role involves recruiting in a fast paced environment.

Specific job responsibilities to include but not limited:

• Setting creative recruiting strategies and executing flawlessly against these strategies to meet hiring goals.
• Conducting benchmark and competitive intelligence studies to enforce sourcing strategies.
• Maintaining a strong pipeline of talent for the organization 2-3 years ahead.
• Managing HC performance for the client groups you support including: alignment with Finance and the business to ensure the overall delivery against hiring plans.
• Driving operational excellence within the client groups you support including ensuring staffing systems are fully used, that data integrity is protected and that client groups are maintaining the highest standards of recruiting excellence.
• Acting as an ambassador to Merkle in the quest to provide the best candidate experience.
• Oversee the campus recruiting to ensure campus hiring targets are met.

• Handle staffing vendor management including searching firm, external portal vendor/ job-boards.
• Consults with HR Director and business leaders on overall staffing strategy for both the short and medium term needs of the business.
• Educates support staff on client group needs and business requirements.

• Involves recruiting in a high volume environment attending external job fairs, conducting outreach presentations, and preparing and attending open houses.
• Facilitate internal transfers, and help ensure we have the right complement of people doing the right jobs.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum.
• Must have a minimum of 5 + year experience in recruiting –strong at sourcing, staffing marketing intelligence

• Ideally will have 2 years in-house staffing experience with a high tech multinational company in IT or professional services industry is a plus
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills required. Fluent Mandarin speaking and writing skills.
• Requires an approachable personal style, effective problem analysis.
• Strong PC skills in Windows applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Requires strong negotiating, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated discretion in dealing with highly confidential matters.
• Must be able to travel as required to various Merkle offices around China.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of formulating staffing strategies.
