Purpose of the Position (brief description of how this role adds value to the organisation)


The purpose of this position is to take the lead role in the planning, execution, and integration of all Consumer Direct campaigns across all media, channels, and products. As the Channel Integration Manager they have the responsibility to ensure campaigns are run to bench mark, tests are carried out with discipline, and performance is refined iteratively through the various campaigns & test scenarios. Ensuring alignment between campaign activities to achieve a meaningful customer engagement is a key function of the role.


Key Accountabilities

§ Auto Project: Responsible to lead timely launch of the Consumer Direct Auto campaigns by December 2012 inclusive:

    • Creation of campaign launch plan.
    • Recruitment for additional Campaign Management positions required to support the Consumer Direct Auto launch
    • Implementation of campaign plan across online and offline media with digital and broad marketing campaign managers
    • Ensure all launch campaigns are integrated and coherent in objectives, messages and look and feel, and are launched on time and smoothly
    • Working closely with Digital Ecosystem, Information Marketing and other teams for effective targeting, excellent customer experience, and testing and roll out approach

§ Consumer Direct Project: Provide input & support to work streams & project team to ensure a timely & effective launch of a fully integrated multi product & distribution Consumer Direct business in 2013:

    • Participate in regular team meetings and Project Milestone up-dates
    • Participate in the formulation of go-to-market strategy in particular for that of China
    • Preparation to act in the China Run team of Consumer Direct business on campaign management
    • Managing Consumer Direct campaigns from 2013 launch, based on the findings, framework established, plans, strategy and go-to-market from Consumer Direct Project
    • Provision of regular up-date documentation and information to Consumer Direct Project

§ Consumer Direct Channel Integration Head: Lead and drive the Consumer Direct Auto campaign launch and the management of all China Consumer Direct campaigns upon rollout in 2013 ensuring achievement of business objectives, campaigns KPIs, execution of strategic initiatives, and development/retention of talent:

o Responsible for channel mix expansion to include broad media, on-line and mobile e-commerce and other digital channels

o Working with Information Marketing teams for Customer segmentation, targeting and continuous campaign enhancement

o Propose in-country media spending (includes optimization of marketing spend commensurate with the global direct marketing benchmarks by line of business)

o Negotiate and manage media buying relationships

o Campaign budget development and approvals acquisition

o Enforce standards related to campaign budget commitments, marketing efficiencies and other benchmarks negotiated with Product Heads

o Develop and execute a disciplined test-and-rollout, integrated campaign strategies, as well as marketing plans encompassing market segmentation, product positioning, product and media mix, and packaging to achieve targets

o Develop customer-centric metrics, KPIs and governance processes

o Develop and enforce governance standards around campaign & marketing operations

o Develop retention programs, cross & up-sell marketing campaigns and programs to strengthen customer loyalty and improved persistency

o Hire, develop and train staff

Desired

§ 10+ years work experience with at least 2 as Senior Manager or higher in profit center role and sponsored and non-sponsored direct distribution inclusive skill sets in media buy and vendor management

§ Hands on experience of Direct Marketing with emphasis on Auto products specifically in China

Educational Qualifications

§ Undergraduate required, MBA or higher preferred
