Purpose of the Position (brief description of how this role adds value to the organisation)


The purpose of this position is to take the lead role in the planning, execution, and integration of all Consumer Direct campaigns on digital media, across all channels and products. As the Digital Campaign Manager the position has the responsibility to ensure campaigns are run to bench mark, tests are carried out with discipline, and performance is refined iteratively through the various campaigns & test scenarios.


Key Accountabilities

§ Auto Project: Responsible to the timely launch of the Consumer Direct Auto marketing campaigns on digital media by December 2012 inclusive:

    • Preparation of digital campaign plans for the overall campaign plan
    • Implementation of marketing campaigns across online media
    • Working with agency and online media on messages, creative and media planning according to overall launch campaign objectives, messages and look and feel, so to launch all digital campaigns on time and smoothly
    • Working closely with Digital Ecosystem, Information Marketing and other teams for effective targeting, excellent online customer experience, and test-and-roll out approach

§ Consumer Direct Project: Provide input & support to work streams & project team for a timely & effective launch of a fully integrated multi product & distribution Consumer Direct business in 2013:

    • Participate in regular team meetings and Project Milestone up-dates
    • Participate in the formulation of go-to-market strategy in particular for that of China
    • Preparation to act in the China Run team of Consumer Direct business on implementation of digital campaigns
    • Implementing digital campaigns from 2013 launch, based on the findings, framework established, strategy and plans, and go-to-market strategy from Consumer Direct Project
    • Provision of regular up-date documentation and information to Consumer Direct Project

§ Consumer Direct Digital Campaign Manager: Planning and implementation of digital campaigns for Consumer Direct Auto launch in Dec 2012 and all China Consumer Direct digital campaigns upon rollout in 2013, ensuring achievement of business objectives, campaigns KPIs, and execution of strategic initiatives:

o Channel mix expansion to include all on-line, mobile e-commerce and other digital channels

o Working with Information Marketing teams for Customer segmentation, targeting and continuous campaign enhancement

o Working with Digital Ecosystem teams on digital campaign implementation for excellent customer experience and optimal campaign responsiveness

o Propose in-country digital media spending (includes optimization of marketing spend commensurate with the global direct marketing benchmarks by line of business)

o Digital campaign budget development and ensuring campaign spending within budget and marketing efficiency targets

o Working with digital media and other external agencies on campaign preparation

o Working with Marketing Operations team for smooth launch of all digital campaigns

o Working with Telemarketing call centers for efficient and effective selling process integrating online and call center channels

o Executing a disciplined test-and-rollout, integrated campaign strategies, as well as marketing plans encompassing market segmentation, product positioning, product and media mix, and packaging to achieve targets

o Meet and manage customer-centric metrics, KPIs and governance processes on all digital campaigns

Desired

§ 8+ years work experience, preferably in sponsored and non-sponsored digital direct distribution business, digital media buy and vendor management

§ Hands on experience of digital Direct Marketing with emphasis on Auto products specifically in China

Educational Qualifications

§ Undergraduate required, MBA or higher preferred
