Job Qualifications:
? Thorough understanding of athletic apparel construction, design, function, and use capabilities
? Proven experience and understanding of factory production techniques, operations, and processes with strong ability to implement quality control systems and corrective action
? Thorough understanding of statistical quality control process
? Ability to travel domestically and internationally
? Strong PC skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Software
? Strong team player, easy going character, eager to learn and take on new projects
? Ability to work effectively in team situations, as well as independently
? Effective problem solving and root cause analytical skills; ability to lead others and effect change
? 2+ years of JDE or related MRP system experience
? Strong organizational skills
? 5+ years of supervisory experience

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

? Responsible for supervising employees and vendors involved in inspection and quality control procedures with regard to all raw materials and finished goods to assure that quality control standards are achieved.
? Establish quality control production relationships with factories to develop the processes that product meets QC requirements for shipment directly to all Pearl Izumi divisions.
? Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records
? Investigate and determine causes of faulty work and consult and advise production facilities as to corrective measures.
? Implement and manage processes to attain 100% quality control compliance at the source and enable Direct to Stock practices for all Pearl Izumi destinations, both for raw materials and finished goods.
? Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance Lead, and Senior Quality Analyst to ensure all product quality processes are met during pre-production as well as production.
? 50-70% domestic and international travel to factories for Q.C/product inspections.
? 10% JDE systems management for finished goods.
? Bi-lingual – Chinese and English – speak, read, and write both languages.
? PLM understanding to read and download specifications, and enter Quality issues.
