Main Responsibilities

To deliver strategic conclusions and recommendations beyond tactical stages of China Competitive Insights projects to the category management, marketing and innovation community.

To assist full growth of new and established businesses by adequately and timely providing business relevant recommendations based on generated and analysed competitive insights information gained by being active at the frontline and in constant communication with Chinese players. Also to monitor macro- & micro-economic changes and support of strategic projects in China

To act as an active link between business, product and marketing communities by using proper competencies of connecting the dots between the external environment of the business including competition and the internal strategies and synergies. The aim is to support the decision making process on a strategic and operational level inside the relevant business groups, project teams and business strategy dialogues.


Requirements

Knowledge and educational level

- Batchelor’s Degree, or ideally, Master degree in science/technology and/or marketing/business administration. Ideally coupled with an MBA
- Ideally, Experience in business intelligence and industry analyst related job
- Broad view on the total value chain, business process experience
- Managerial and social knowledge and experience, especially:
- Good communication and organization skills
- High level of conceptual and analytical skills
- Quick intellectual grasp
- Factual, detail and open-minded for new information
- Fluent in Chinese and English (spoken and written)

Required level of experiences

3-4 years experience in the similar function, other relevant business / commercial functions
10 years experience of working for multi national companies
Experience in leading (multi disciplinary) teams
