Job Description
The position is located in Shanghai B&S. The position reports to the local B&S Launch Manager Group Leader
Secure Quote, Launch, Manufacturing concept for all new projects driven in Asia
- B&S projects driven by Shanghai B&S development teams
- B&S S5 Projects World Wide
Areas of responsibility are: Manage production related topics. Introduce and launch new products, support series production.
> Within the Shanghai B&S Development Center, acting for B&S products, drive and support the development and launch of new products in Asia.
At Quotation phase, you are responsible for the manufacturing quote and act to provide consistent quotes.
After Quote during development and launch phase, act in close cooperation with Project Leader and launch teams in the plant to develop and introduce the optimal manufacturing concept.
Ensure that tasks defined in product launch procedure are implemented with consideration to B&S, Segment, Plant strategy and local specific constraints, process, organization.
- Support of series production is part of your responsibility as well.
- Product transfer between plant, is also part of the scope.
For more detailed tasks, please refer to the Launch Management procedure (New Product Launch procedure Rev. 05 / 02-2008) and the PLC guide line.
> Additional, you act as consultant for the manufacturing technologies and processes.
Qualification & Experience
- Knowledge in the area of manufacturing, technology and electronics
- Project management experience preferable
- Several years of experience in manufacturing planning
- Several years of experience in quality make market
- Experience in international co-operation
