职位描述

Responsibilities:

1.IT Supplier Relationship Management activities:
A. Contributing to and managing an IT center of excellence for supplier management (framework, tools, practices, learning resources for IT professionals),
B. Establishing relationship management related to key IT contracts, including processes for governance and on-going monitoring of and feedback related to supplier performance
C. Guide development of relationships with new suppliers to deliver win-win outcomes supporting Ford's long-term IT strategy.
D. Leading and updating IT Supplier strategy development with IT senior managers globally.
E. Research (internal and external) information and industry trends related to Ford IT Suppliers.
F. Ensuring effective ongoing relationships with 3rd parties with whom there are existing transactions (licenses, agreements, regulatory).
G. Providing proactive decision making information related to supplier relationships.
H. Cultivating and sustaining the Supplier Relationship Management mindset globally within IT.

2.Related activities:
A. Managing risk to Ford and IT through effective relationship management and negotiations with 3rd parties in support of IT transactions.
B. Participating in cross-functional teams formed to ensure that business objectives and requirements are met with a given relationship and associated transactions.
C. Describing risks and mitigation strategies in business or IT terms related to the use of third party software, including open source software.
D. Managing complex IT transaction projects with 3rd parties to achieve required deadlines.
E. Consulting to business partners on supplier relationship strategies related to proposed or completed transactions in order to aid their decision making and risk assessment.
F. Representing Ford and IT principles, practices, and values in IT supplier relationships and transactions.

Requirements:
Skills & Experience
1. Demonstrated experience managing relationships with information technology 3rd party suppliers and 3rd party business affiliates
2. Demonstrated experience with IT supplier-relationship activities (e.g. operationalizing a SOW, leading the migration from one service provider to another, transition from Ford-led to supplier-led).
3. Information technology industry experience sufficient to understand IT requirements, technology products/services, and assess risks.
4. Demonstrated experience servicing clients by resolving various IT supplier issues.
5. Technical, IT preferred, undergraduate degree and/or relevant experience.
6. Demonstrated public speaking and presentation skills.
7. Understanding of IT supplier sales motivations and ability to identify the related behaviors.
8. Desirable skills/experience: Demonstrated experience with drafting and negotiating IT technology contracts; JD degree.
