Job Description:

The Position is responsible for defining and managing Ford IT Strategy and Policy / Procedures for APA Joint Ventures, for securing agreement for strategy from key Business, IT and JV Stakeholders, and for implementing the processes needed to maximize value for Ford and the JV Partners from IT Support.
The Position is also responsible for JV IT Security and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management – defining, co-ordinating, and managing requirements for all aspects of Joint Venture compliance to Security and IPR requirements.
1. Co-ordinate Global and APA JV Governance principles, Strategy and processes supporting Business Systems, IT Strategy for JV’s in AP, and Operations.
2.Build and sustain key Business Partner relationships to enable Ford and JV to efficiently leverage best-in-class global IT solutions to support Ford AP Better Plan.
3.Develop strong knowledge of the Joint Ventures IT and Business operations
4.Guide compliance in the JV’s to Ford ITPM other policies. Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Global workstreams developing new Policy or Strategy related to JV Operations.
5.Support Negotiations with Joint Venture Senior Management to conclude contracts or adjustments related to IT Service provision to the Joint Ventures.
6.Close liaison with Ford Business IT, Apllication development, ITOperations and Finance Functions on all aspects of the above

Requirements:

1.Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or similar discipline

2.No. of Years of Experience; 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in IT

3.Professional Exposure: A.Experience in Infrastructure and Applications Service Management, ideally in an ITSM / ITIL environment.
B.Applied Knowledge of applications and technology lifecycle.

4.Preferred previous experiences:

A.Experience in implementing IT Operations services and exposure to Business Relationship Management processes.
B.Familiar with Ford Technology Standards and IT Security & Controls
C.Experience in IT financial planning
5.Leadership Skills:

A.Proven Leadership skills demonstrating ability to operate in a Business Relationship Management role interfacing with Joint Venture or Affiliate organisations; strong business acumen to identify win-win outcomes.

B.Demonstrable capability to build strong relationships, team player, can do attitude.

6.Functional/Technical Skills:Knowledge of all aspects of IT standards, Portfolio solution and IT Governance (IT Policies, Security & Controls, Audit).

7.Special Skills Sets Required: Good communication skills and command of English
